Guys, I have been riding the bus to work every morning. And this week, on my ride, I have been rereading The Art of Power by Thich Nhat Hanh (which is the book “just drink your tea” came from).
Every time I do this, I feel like an idiot, because there is a reason I named my tumblr after this, and it was to remind me that I need to practice mindfulness and I need to do these things. Because when I do, everything is so excellent. I just feel 500 times better and more like myself and my stresses don’t burden me as much.
So when I get stressed out and I am losing it and I am breaking down, please, please remind me to practice mindfulness. It is not a waste of time.
Thich Nhat Hanh says, “We already have enough time to be attentive to all the people and things that are important to us.” And this includes ourselves.
